Becoming Involved

You can become involved in the Oxfordshire Craft Guild by becoming a Member or a Friend.

As a Friend of the Guild you will receive copies of our Newsletter,  invitations to Guild exhibitions and a Membership Card that entitles you to a 10% discount at our Christmas Exhibition in Woodstock.

Members of the Guild are active makers and ambassadors for their chosen craft. To be admitted, they have to demonstrate the quality of their work, an understanding of design, commitment to their craft and what they will offer the Guild. Members distinguish themselves from other makers by using the initials OCG after their name. Being accepted confers Associate status for a period of two years, followed by full Membership if approved by the Committee.

The Guild participates/organises several exhibitions each year; members who participated in our Chipping Norton Artweeks and Woodstock Christmas Exhibitions in 2017  earned a share of combined sales worth £31,000.

From April 2017, intending Members will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of £30 to cover administration costs and the travel and other expenses of the interview panel.
